CIRCUS ARTIST AND CHOREOGRAPHER

I am a circus artist–pedagogue, dance artist, and choreographer working as a freelance artist in the performing arts field in Finland and Spain. I am currently based in Sant Pere de Ribes in Catalonia.

I graduated from the Circus Arts program at Turku Arts Academy with a focus on cyr wheel, contemporary dance, and partner acrobatics. I completed an exchange program at Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, studying dance interpretation and choreography. I am currently continuing my studies in the master’s program in Dance Movement Therapy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

I work both as a performer and a choreographer. My artistic aesthetic is minimalist and rooted in the visual language of contemporary circus. I often approach creation through imagery and poetry, and my working method is strongly grounded in improvisation. 

As a dance movement therapist I am curious to work with processes where movement becomes its own language, revealing what words cannot, bringing forth embodied memories, and supporting their integration through the intelligence of the moving body.

I work in Finnish, English, and Spanish.

I am a founding member and board secretary of two performing arts associations in Finland: Teatteri Sujo and Cirque Bono.
